One of the main advantages of low volatile coals such as Jellinbah in blast furnace pulverised coal injection (PCI) applications is their high coke replacement ratio compared with high volatile coals.

The other features which distinguish Jellinbah coal are;

  • high energy content
  • low total moisture
  • easy grinding characteristics
  • plastic properties in coke blend
